Ready to make a difference? Here’s everything you need to know about starting your journey with us.

All applications are submitted online.  Explore current openings at CAREERS OPENINGS.  Click on any job title to view the full description and apply- It’s that easy!

Tip: If you’re interested in more than one position, be sure to submit a separate application for each role.  One application does not automatically apply you to all vacancies.

Our Talent Acquisition team carefully reviews each application. If your experience aligns with the role, one of our recruiters will reach out to discuss next steps.

Depending on the role, you may go through:

  • An emailed pre-screening
  • A phone interview
  • A virtual and/or on-site panel interview

We aim to make the process smooth and respectful of your time.

Our hiring process typically takes 2 to 6 weeks from application to offer. We work hard to keep things moving quickly and efficiently.

Per state requirements, all applicants must complete a DFPS (Department of Family and Protective Services) background check.  This process includes reviewing multiple databases such as:

  • FBI fingerprint database check
  • Criminal history check
  • Sex Offender Registry check
  • Texas CPS (Central Registry) check, which reviews any investigations, allegations, or findings related to child abuse or neglect
  • Out-of-state registry checks (required for anyone who has lived outside of Texas within the past five years to review CPS records from those states)

DFPS checks each of these databases. For the out-of-state, each state has its own process, requirements, and turnaround times for completing and submitting records to DFPS.  To help avoid delays, we encourage applicants to complete fingerprinting as soon as possible and promptly follow up on any additional action items or documentation requests from DFPS.
